From a previous participant:

Briar and Michael's gift to me was Mary Magdalene's story truly told in the traditional manner of wisdom story telling. It was a courageous, full and nuanced telling – the story 'telling itself' at many levels. Even as Briar spoke, the story of Mary as beloved companion of Jesus seemed to be still unfolding in and through her. Her first telling stirred soul memories in me and in the early hours of the next morning I lay marveling, my heart in my mouth, how this same soul story has been telling itself in my life. I know this story in loving relationships, in dreams, in wisdom writings, through sacred ritual, and in deep silences where inexplicably, I recognise Mary Magdalene as loving energy in my flesh and fire in my speech. Michael led us in a process to give colour and form to our inner responses. It was a master class in enabling creative process! Here our story had another kind of telling when we were able to experience it through each other's eyes - each person's perspective unique and essential to the shared drama. The whole experience has deepened in me a belief that the Mary Magdalene story is a transforming story that belongs to all cultures and creeds. A 'world soul' story for all times – yet perhaps critically for our time.

From a past participant:

Briar Grimley's Projective Geometry courses reconnected me with the wonder of the natural world, in all its sacred order and precision. Dealing with the idea of infinity was an exercise in opening my mind, re-thinking and re-understanding, challenging my programmed thought process. Briar teaches with passion for her subject, excited to share her knowledge, almost holding her breath as participants make each new discovery and are reawakened to long-lost knowing.

This course is being done in a new way but the following comment by a past participant says it all:

Storytelling/painting weekends are “simply the best!” – We sit in a circle, a log fire warming us in winter, and in quiet tones, Briar begins. I feel so blessed to be one of those present as the story unfolds. And then it is finished and there is nothing more to say. Almost stunned, we leave quietly. The images conjured up will rest with us overnight and the one with which we resonate will be there with us the next morning. For the rest of the day we will interpret this image with guidance from Michael. These are rich experiences indeed.
